Dubai Police Officers Club - Recruitment Space

Interview Room 3.png

Dubai Police Officers Club - Recruiting Centre.

The project consists of four uniquely designed spaces, each with a youthful touch and light spirit. The first open space is a waiting area leading to the waiting room, testing room, and lastly the interview room.

Being an open space, the waiting area is designed using a neutral color scheme to match the whole space. Reaching the waiting room, a fresh ambience is provided by the green color circulating all around. The room is equipped with interactive screens and a digital display expanding the recruits' knowledge on the services and projects provided by Dubai Police. A futuristic round portal leads to the testing room from the waiting room. Designed with a warm atmosphere using yellow and tints of orange, the organic room provides ten testing stations each with an equipped screen and a lower platform for recruits to place their items next to them. The lighting system embraced around provides signage which indirectly guides the recruits to the stations. And finally, the interview room which is the last step in the process. Designed using neutrals and tints of blue providing a cold atmosphere. Recruits are met with a similar round portal signifying their entrance to a whole new world.

Target audience for the space are young fresh recruits, hence a sleek futuristic concept was developed aiming to send the message that the youth are our future. The design focuses on seamless round corners and cut edges.

The color scheme was derived from the three main colors that the Dubai Police use. Green for security, yellow for happiness, and blue for innovation.
